New Stage Show, Based on Hit Preschool Series PAW Patrol, to Debut Oct. 29, 2016; Show Tickets Go On Sale May 20
MINNEAPOLIS, MN (May 10, 2016) – Nickelodeon and VStar Entertainment Group today announced the first tour stops for PAW Patrol Live! “Race to the Rescue,” a music-filled adventure, featuring more than a dozen characters on stage from the hit animated preschool series PAW Patrol, produced by Spin Master Entertainment. On Friday, May 20, the general public can purchase tickets for the first leg of the tour at www.pawpatrollive.com, where fans can also sign up for tour updates and ticket pre-sale notifications for their city. Beginning Wednesday, May 11, exclusive pre-sale tickets are available to *Citi cardholders and current PAW Patrol Live! Tail Mail subscribers. The 90-city North American tour will kick off in Evansville, IN on October 29 and will tour nationwide, including iconic venues in Chicago, Detroit, New York City and many more to come.
PAW Patrol Live! “Race to the Rescue” is an action packed, high-energy adventure featuring up-tempo show music that is set around the day of the Great Race between Adventure Bay’s Mayor Goodway and Foggy Bottom’s Mayor Humdinger, but with the race about to begin, Mayor Goodway is nowhere to be found. Ryder summons Marshall, Chase, Skye, Rubble, Rocky, Zuma, and the newest pup, Everest, to rescue Mayor Goodway and to run the race in her place.
The show combines classic theatrical scenery along with a high-tech video wall to visually transport families to popular locations from the TV series, like Adventure Bay, The Lookout, Seal Island, Farmer Yumi’s Farm and Jake’s Mountain. Once guests enter the theater, they will have the opportunity to participate in the adventure and become a part of the PAW Patrol Cheer Team. The show, which includes two acts and an intermission, incorporates an innovative costume approach to help bring the pups to life on stage as well as their vehicles and packs during the all important rescue mission.
